finding balance.

There are many trails, paths, roads we must travel in our own journeys through life. The twists and turns of my life, turbulent waters, ascending climbs, and joyous moments on the summits of mountains have brought me to a place I never expected: I am attending graduate school for Psychology. Wait…what?
Yep. Psychology.

This is blog is my attempt to stay in touch with my creative side while being clobbered with hundreds of pages of reading and assignments on brain function and behavior theories. I hope to find a balance between outdoor therapy and the thriving artist that is still at the core of my being.

Am I a blogger? No. I have no real knowledge about fashion or music, cooking recipes, or fitness. Do you like squats? I don’t. I certainly don’t have any advice about love…just some seriously ridiculous stories.

My goal is to capture moments each day, whether it be on the road, trail, or simply the view from my window. I hope to be present in each moment, approach fear and uncertainty instead of running from it, embrace everyday challenges as life-lessons, open myself to learning from others and, of course, make some art along the way.
